If I remember correctly it was 5lb of tenderloin. Most of the cost of it was from the truffles. Just for those it was like $130.

 

That's a big ass steak too though!

A 12 ounce steak from a steak house here in Dallas will run you $50. So 5 lbs would be about $300 worth of just steak too!

Oh yeah. The people were friends of the owner so we just charged them what it cost us to make it. We didn't make any profit from it.

 

Officially at the point where holidays with the family just bum me out. Would much rather spend them with friends and I vote to change thanksgiving to Friendsgiving permanently

This is a really good bbq sauce that you can find at Safeway or Vons or whatever you call it in your region. I put it on everything.
