It makes me furious that they make y'all work Thursday, anyone who shops that day should get the guillotine

We make more as a company in the 6 hours (+1 hour to 1am) we're open on Thanksgiving than we make in the entire month of February or March. From a business standpoint, I totally get why it's happening. People go out and shop in droves. I just think it would be more fun/fair/a decent compromise if it started at midnight.

People should get to spend Thanksgiving with their families, some restaurants/ movie theaters need to be open fine, It's Black Friday not Black Thursday

ironically this is the same company that "wants to make sure we have christmas eve with our families" so we can only work until 9:30 that night and usually have to come in at 3am the day after christmas to put out new product for a sale.

i am going to be the guy at Gamestop at 4 on Thanksgiving but that's because my family isn't doing anything. i plan to be polite and patient and appreciative

Black Friday I mainly go out to get cheap movies, I agree though it is way out of hand
