Man I've been feeling really discouraged about work lately and rethinking my career. Then we have a day like today and it reminds me of why I love working in a restaurant. The whole staff crushed it, specials sold like crazy and I can't imagine having a more rewarding job.

For real though, I’m at A Ghost Story > Killin of a Sacred Deer = Lady Bird > BR 2049. I’ve been fairly underwhelmed this year, but this last month has been killing it.

Hecka stoked for Disaster Artist and Phantom Thread tho

 

Like, I'm probably gonna see Coco this Monday and I'm worried it'll be underwhelming watching it just 50 or so hours after seeing Lady Bird. And Coco (from what other critics that saw it already seem to be saying) appears to be another very good mid-tier Pixar film

 

Would I still love A Ghost Story if I don't know shit about horror

I hate how everything comes out all at once because of awards season, in the next couple months we'll get Darkest Hour, Call Me By Your Name, Shape Of The Water, The Post, Phantom Thread, Molly's Game and I'm forgetting some I'm sure

plus I need to see Last Flag Flying and Three Billboards

It’s frustrating indeed. I’m glad I have MoviePass (though I did see you had a negative experience) for this season, but I will be allocating a lot of time to the theater haha

 

Wasn't that trailer misleading as to what the movie really was or am I thinking of a different film
