What is "street sweeping"

 

Oh man, I have gotten so many tickets at my old house on street sweeping days. Maybe it’s a California thing, I dunno, but basically it’s when they drive down your block with a big ass truck that supposedly cleans the streets, but it’s honestly just a scam. I’ve been down roads that don’t have street sweeping and they are just as clean or dirty. Tickets generally start at $50, I know in downtown LA they are around $75

Haha my brother got one of those tickets cause he parked in his street when he flew here from his home in Denver. I have no idea how he was supposed to know their schedule of "Every second Tuesday of the month"
