Loved Goosebumps in like third grade

I loved Goosebumps and fear street so much

 

Except the sweet sweet variety

 

When I was little Are You Afraid Of The Dark use to scare me more than horror movies I'd seen lol.

I remember Goosebumps actually made me had a nightmare about a ventriloquist dummy that was in the house.

 

Boxcar children was my jam tho

 

I also had a nightmare about Slappy

 

OMG I miss Snick

 

I use to laugh at the Friday the 13th and Chucky movies (though Nightmare On Elm Street I did not like at all, creeped me out lol) but shit like the ominous episodes of Are You Afraid Of The Dark really fucked with me lol.

Anamorphs was fun for the 3 weeks it was cool too lol.

Animorphs was great. Read those for a while

 

Goosebumps, Animorphs and Star Wars books was pretty much all I read as a kid until I made the switch to fantasy novels that I was probably too young for (shout out to my dad for giving me Game of Thrones when I was like 12)

Yes, Redwall was awesome. There's been a few fantasy-but-with-rodents video games shown off recently and it just makes me think about how much I'd love a proper Redwall animated series.

 

All that stuff gave me nightmares as a kid

 

The Goosebumps with the dummy terrified me

 

Fun fact I've never had a nightmare. Or at least never remembered one, I don't remember my dreams

I grew up in a very religious household and always had nightmares that I was in hell :(

 

night terrors/sleep paralysis here, lol. has resulted in me waking up covered in blood from injuring myself. biggest instance occured on my ex's bday

 

The Haunted Mask one made an impact on young me. The scariest one I could remember too.

A young Ryan Gosling is in one of those episodes lmao
