I wear cargo pants, it's not my fault that I need a lot of pockets, I rarely wear shorts I'm always cold

You’ll get there. Just try making a wide variety of drinks when you do drink and you’ll have a lot of options in no time. Also, I cook with a lot of alcohol, so that helps me too. I threw tequila in my black beans last night and when I’m making a weeknight dinner, I put a little sherry or brandy or wine in with stock and deglaze my pan and then I have a sauce that’s a lot more interesting when I’m just searing up some chicken and microwaving green beans haha. Vermouth is great in sauces too, especially Italian ones. So you have to replace what you use, which costs money, but if you buy the cheaper yet still good stuff, it’s easy to have a wide variety on hand for not a crazy amount of money. Again, as long as you vary what you use. Then again, I’m obsessed with cooking and it’s therapeutic to me for some reason haha, so I’m definitely partially blind to how much money I spend on food and booze.

 

work scam update: assuming they let you go on a friday, i have at least one more full week of work left! that'll be one more full paycheck. here's hoping i can make it to february!
