I went to our local arthouse theatre for the first time yesterday and figured you’d be proud of me

I saw The Shape of Water. I enjoyed it for what it was, but I am baffled it’s getting any sort of award recognition.

 

Loved that movie, heard it was top tier GDT. Except for the one person (whose opinions I generally respect) saying it's Del Toro's The Departed

 

I adore Pacific Rim so I was curious how I would like a quieter GDT film. I saw Pan’s Labyrinth years and years ago and remember nothing about it.

Album is honestly sick. I thought they were just like a power pop band who were a one hit wonder but! Album is an alt rock/power pop masterpiece and I'm real into it

Yup! Some consider Blue to be their best. I think they got written off as a joke/one hit wonder band, but all the albums are for the most part great. I can count the number of 3eb songs I don’t care for on one hand
