Why is that? Isn’t that largely objective or no?

 

Just don’t be lazy, like me. I’ve reached a plateau where I’m decent I guess, but if I want to really be good I need to dedicate a lot of time and practice and I just don’t do that

 

There are a lot of symmetries that happen in physics that if you notice kind of happen everywhere. Once you notice them it’s hard not to. I think they apply everywhere tbh

 

It’s still mostly opinion though, not objective

 

My stomach is rejecting the 4000 tootsie rolls I ate yesterday. Blehhh.

 

Depressing post

Two months before my dad died I visited LA, where he lived, with my then girlfriend and I purposely did not tell him I was there because I was on a tight schedule and so fucking selfish. Why allocate time to go see my dad I barely see when I could go to dumbass Disneyland with my girlfriend who I’d then break up with only a few months later? This is the only regret of my life and I lowkey hate myself for it. Sorry, just feeling very emotional right now. I miss him.

 

I practice daily!! But I still feel like I have plateaued and it sucks

Idk what kind of person yr dad was, but I'm sure he wouldn't have held it against you? You couldn't have known and at the time you probably felt okay about that decision. If we all thought "what if I never see x person again" when weighing decisions like that, it's hard to believe we'd make choices at all. Anyway, I hope you find peace with that, and I hope this helps some how. I'm sorry it even happened.
