Really like what Ive heard so far, but I doubt anything will top TIAM. Great band though with no duds.
I considered TIAM to be one of the best of the genre, but after listening to this a few times, I think this might be their best work.
the arrangements on this are subtle bur very effective, I like that also, We Are Groot kind of reminds me of Dismemberment Plan, and that is always a good thing
some good p4k coverage! Look Mexico: Uniola Album Review | Pitchfork I have fallen so hard for this album. it's such a comfort to have in my ears when I'm in this kind of transitional period.
also, I feel like I haven't seen anybody talk about it, but "That Was The Flamethrower..." is a stunning epilogue
I really really like this album and I can't put my finger on why. It sits just right with me. I didn't expect to dig it as much as I have. Would love to read the lyrics somewhere but haven't been able to find them.
revisiting this - I really like it although the vocals are kind of meh musicianship is insane and they have a really unique sound
Love this record, never had a problem with their vocals. Btw their guitarist ryan slate has some cool ambient records out that are worth checking out. Nothing special but still aightttt
incoming hot take.... this is the one of the best, if not the best "emo" albums to be released in past 5 years.
Never heard of this band, but after reading through this thread I am absolutely psyched to check that album out.
