Yeah this new song absolutely rules.

 

The odd time signatures make this sound so awkward but it works really well haha, I like this!

 

Fuck yeah, lomelda uses the best meters. Didn’t love that mini record but I return to Thx constantly. Some incredible melodies on there

This album is great! Goes in directions I wasn’t expecting at times but it’s a very nice record!

 

Listened three times yesterday, it’s such a beautiful record. Love everything she’s done and this is easily her best.

This is just as lovely and beguiling as I was hoping for. Exploring kindness, quiet and empathy as they relate to each other is a commendable conceit and I love the music Lomelda is producing in search of them.

"Tommy Dread" is SO GOOD

EDIT: there's a way the harmonies (and the weird overtones) all line up at 3:17 that blows my mind every time
