Yeah, I'd try to at least get a flight that's very early in the day. That's usually my preference anyway if something goes wrong because you have more flexibility.
I will be wearing a black Clipse hat and a white shirt today feel free to say “excuse me are you Fucking Dustin from Chorus dot fm” to me and walk away before I can respond (or say hi)
Gracie Abrams had a monster crowd. Not as big as the Chappell roan crowd from last year but it was pretty close
I’m wearing a black hat and a black shirt that has Olivia and Sabrina on it and tan shorts. Watching Jane Remover and Otoboke Beaver then wandering for fun for a while and then Olivia
Was wondering if she'd have a special guest: Weezer is a pretty cool choice, especially since she mentioned that they were her first concert.
Yeah, yesterday was a blast. Got great spots for everyone I wanted to see. A couple rows behind the barrier for Orla Gartland and Bleachers and a little over halfway up the field for Olivia, which is about all I expected for walking over there after Bleachers and stopping for food. I had perfect train transfer timing and security was a breeze so I even got in to catch the last bit of Otoboke Beaver. All the sets were great, though I was around so many people camping for Korn that Bleachers was a little lower energy than I’m used to. Still very fun. I did end up spending most of their set in a mud puddle and it smelled like a petting zoo.
Man, just saw that Olivia closed with “Get Him Back” - I left during “All American Bitch” to catch my train and heard “Good 4 U” as I was getting out to the street, figuring that was the last song.
How big was Korn's crowd? I saw a pic right before they hit the stage and it was kinda empty, but I guess more people arrived
Scored a ticket last night for $150 to check out Rufus…incredible set but people werent kidding when they said it’s a young crowd, the amount of 14-18yos is wild.
It's always hard to gauge but it seems like I'm seeing more complaints about crowd issues than in past years.
Seems like things were especially bad for Sabrina Carpenter. Saw a comment on Reddit that I definitely agree with: As they've increased capacity in the last couple years, they've also decreased the amount of usable space by adding so many brand areas, so there's hardly anywhere to chill if you need a break for a few minutes and all of the paths and stages are more crowded than ever. Obviously crowd behavior is another issue entirely. I fundamentally don't think they should do an age restriction like I see calls for every year.
I completely agree on not adding age restrictions. It wouldn't change a damn thing, to be honest. I can't say that I noticed an increase in brand space last year but I believe last year was also the first of the increased capacity. I was in the Chappel Roan crowd, yeah it was packed but it also felt like people weren't on their worst behavior but that's also a very circumstantial experience. I do wonder, especially for the T-Mobile stage, if they need to add more security breaks to account for the increased capacity.
I should add that my crowd experience was totally fine, even up by the barricade for Bleachers. Never even had to wait in a line for food, water, or bathrooms. The group next to me before Olivia were playing some phone game that included screaming at each other constantly, but they were having a good time and were totally normal once she actually started playing.
Almost certainly. Better exits from the south field too. Honestly think they should mostly clear the hills to the west of that field.
