Live Nation fests are such trash…recycled headliners across the board this year. Gaga at Coachella is the only unique headliner booking in all of North American fests next year.
When live nation books all their fests they sign headliners to multiple fest deals. this is Olivia and Sabrina’s first time headlining Lolla. Don’t think Korn has played in like 20 years if they ever played back when it was a rock/metal fest. They haven’t had a country headliner in forever.
that’s why the festival market is suffering…we’d see more unique fests if LN didn’t control 80% of them. with as young as this lineup skews it is going to be awful with all the suburb kids taking the train in for the day.
I really can't figure out who the 4th Bud Light is. Luke Combs, ASAP Rocky, and Twice for sure, but I can't decide if I think Gracie or Korn is more likely for the last spot. All I feel pretty sure on is Gracie will be a different day from Olivia and Sabrina to make sure the kids do 4 days. I feel like it's a bad idea to give Korn a full headlining spot, but maybe just selfishly saying that because I think they'd be fun to see but I couldn't pick them over any of the top 4. Unless they really wanted the night time slot - does Korn usually do big production or anything?
book Korn…then proceed to book nothing else on the lineup that a Korn fan would be into. truly amazing work live nation. if they headline they will have the smallest crowd of the weekend. really bizarre to not have 4-5 other heavier acts to prop up this booking for heavier music fans.
I want to believe Korn will close Bud Light. Its their only rock headliner this year. I would bet Doechii will play right before Tyler and Gracie before Olivia. Also, didnt Luke Combs played Solider Field a few years ago? I would thought his draw would be bigger to be top 4 than Rufus Du Sol.
It’s gonna be Korn. They are a headliner on every fest they are playing this year. they usually have big production. Last years was prolly their biggest
I can't believe Korns that high up on the list to be honest. Reminds me of a few years ago when Limp Bizkit came back and was on the circuit. They weren't super high up on any of the lists were they? I feel like Korns set will just be nostalgic for any one who liked them back in the day but not enough to draw a HUGE crowd given the rest of the lineup
they played late night at Bonnaroo last year and the tent was very full, probably 10-15K. However, headlining a festival filled with acts aimed at Gen Z pop/EDM and you’re the only metal band…good luck drawing a crowd!
