It would be kind of sick if they had the Killers play like 7:30-9:00 and Skrillex go on immediately after or something. If for no reason than to shake up the Lolla "formula" a bit (and to let me see both of them)

I can't see The Killers agreeing to that, though.

one curious thing, i thought for sure the killers would be playing hot fuss. that might have been enough to get me there saturday with deftones, killer mike and destroy boys.

They're probably playing a good amount of it with the residency later in the year.

That's wild. Goes to show that this is a solid lineup.

Is Perry even still involved with Lolla anymore? This fest was infinitely more interesting in its early years as a traveling festival.

Some of those multi-genre lineups from the early 90s are mind blowing. Too bad we don’t see anymore traveling multi-stage fests anymore.

When Moby put together the Area fest in 2001 I really thought we’d see a resurgence. How did a festival with David Bowie, Moby, Busta Ryhmes, Billy Talent, Ash, and Blue Man Group all on the main stage fail?

He's really just a part of it as a face. He was involved in the probably the first 10 years of it being in Chicago.

I don't think any of us would deny that it was cooler in the 90s but to date it is still in the top tier of US festivals.

Shows just how well they booked this. It’s not for me across the board but it’s the best of the summer festivals I’ve seen.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Tyler only getting an hour set is kinda wack

    I wonder if it's an open-ended set.

    Set times suck this year

Most of the headliners only getting an hour 15 instead of an hour and a half

blink should have their full 90 minute set
