Also you’re likely going to see more teens and college kids and very young adults there because those are the demographic who more than likely are not currently working or not able to spend all of a weekday at a music festival.
I was only able to catch a little bit of NewJeans set since I was leaving work, but I was super impressed considering how new/young they are. If this is what they can do now, I can't wait to see what they do in their 20's with a more mature sound.

Apparently everything has been bad this year. People going to the bathroom in public, people pushing like crazy to move forward so much so people can barely breathe, insane crowds worse than in years past (they did up the capacity to 120k), the whole VIP area getting all that space pushing everyone in GA back, the insane fans camping all day at stages and having rude attitudes when people try to get by them (I’ve seen comments of people trying to leave a stage and getting screamed at by fans waiting). I was kind of regretting not going last minute because I wanted to see Billie and finally catch Kendrick but after hearing about all this (and the fact that Kendrick came on late and was just okay), I think I made a good choice in passing. I may look for a Sunday resale pass to see Lana but with the crowds and how everything is going, it’s probably not even worth it.
I’ve been having a blast idk nothing seems out of the ordinary to me other than being a bit more crowded than usual. I have not gone very far up for anything though
With the way vip is set up and the t mobile lounge it’s making it seem like it’s way more packed then usual and people are saying it’s over sold is just stupid. They increased the daily cap to 115k (not 120k) and this is the result of the increase and the way the vip is set up. If vip wasn’t so big I don’t think people would have noticed a difference because everything would have been more spread out like past years
From Reddit post, it seems crowds were a little rough today. Destroy Lonely and Yung Gravy had to pause their sets. From a pic it seems people couldnt even get to the main grounds for the main stage and were watching from the hill.
no dates for next year with this tweet like they usually do but im guessing it will be august 1st-4th
The Chicago nascar race is a week later next year compared to this year so lolla imo will either be August 1-4 or 8-11th
Riot fest is a week later then normal next year. Wonder if that’s a sign all Chicago fests are a week later then normal or if it’s just a riot fest thing
