Completely blanked on after shows. Welp.

 

I tried for Carly and failed :(

 

I'm definitely looking forward to it! It seems like the lineup is always better each year, so I'm sure this year is going to be no exception. Can't wait to see what they have in store!

I am happy to see multi-genre lineups line Lollapalooza sell out while lineups like the GovBall struggle...hopefully curators are taking notes....probably not though

 

Those fests are failing bc they’re making a straight youth play with the lineups. Not including legacy acts, or indie/rock acts, is a major deterrent.

Booking a lineup full of hip hop and tik tok pop will draw, not quite the 70-80K these multi genre fests are aiming at. Look at Bonnaroo, they perfectly balanced their lineup this year between current and legacy acts, ended up being their biggest year since 2016.

 

Why are the Saturday and Sunday lineups so bad?

 

30 seconds to mars is doing another late night show at HOB too.

 

This may or may not be lolla after show related

If the show that was announced at 10am was the big announcement it’s not lolla related

 

Still hoping for a 1975 Metro after show.

 

Highly doubt that’s happening. They have a blacked out spot on their tour poster that looks like Chicago that will prolly get announced after lolla. Thursday is the last spot open for metro. I think the last metro show will be Lana or Rhcp

 

We know the date on the fall tour is Chicago.

I know it’s slim but still holding out hope since I fly out to Denver on Friday for Boygenius

 

I literally don't want a Lana aftershow because if I didn't get tickets my life would actually end on the spot I can't deal with that stress

 

Well that’s awkward seeing as they just played Pitchfork

 

Stoked cus I've never seen them and I didn't go to Pitchfork this year. Was going to check out Magdalena Bay but this is an easy switch. Only slight bummer is I'll be late to Mt Joy now but I like Alvvays quite a bit more

 

If the Thursday metro show isn’t announced tomorrow I don’t think one is happening. unless they announce it day of and do in person tickets

 

I’ve been thinking the same. Turned on notifications today for them.

 

Definitely think I’m in the clear for Thursday

 

People at CRJ yesterday seem to think there’s going to be a Thursday show, they asked security and security was apparently tight lipped about it.

Also, Metro just followed the 1975, Lana, Kendrick, and RHCP on Instagram if that means anything…
