Taken from Reddit, it seems Metallica will have their snake pit stage set up. Really hope I win the access to it.
The schedule is very random.. Turnstile is playing before I think Will Smith's daughter (I'm keeping her name out of my mouth for personal safety reasons)
-Tove Lo vs. Manchester (gotta go with Tove Lo cus I've been trying to see her a while now) -Beach Bunny vs. Charli XCX (but I see BB all the time so easy choice for Charli) -Whether I see Turnstile will depend on who I'm with and where we end up going before and after. Not a direct conflict just not ideally timed -Feels sacrilegious to say but I'm almost considering Polo & Pan over Green Day (I'll prob end up at Green Day though) Otherwise it worked out pretty decent
My main conflicts are: The Marias vs Kennyhoopla vs Maneskin Charli XCX vs Beach Bunny Green Day vs Doja Cat
Only day that really appeals to me in Sunday. Could be a fun day of LOLO > KennyHoopla > Charli XCX > Jane's Addiction > Banks > Doja Cat. Really a shame that Metallica's day is so blah.
Spending $4M to book Metallica then failing to give a Metallica fan anything else that would remotely interest them besides Lorna Shore…and these multi genre fests wonder why tickets aren’t moving this year?
The amount of people I know who aren’t going because Turnstile isn’t the same day as Metallica is astonishing. They really dropped the ball booking.
The South America Lollapaloozas made a good job having Rancid and Cage The Elephant playing the same stage as Metallica back in 2017. Not sure what they were thinking for this year in Chicago. I was expecting at least Royal Blood playing same day same stage
It's shocking how thin the Lolla lineup always looks once you see the conflicts at the end of each day. Also, are we now in an era where a headliner set is only 60mins? That's wild.
The initial flyer I was definitely interested, the day by day break out I lost a lot of interest, now after seeing schedule I have 0 interest lol
