Lollapalooza 2022 Tour

Interested to see the lineup this year. I haven't been since 2016 and wouldn't mind going again, especially if they grab two or three headliners I really like.

 

Someone on the subreddit who correctly said The Racounteurs were playing Riot in 2019 said Jack White is headlining, but we shall see.

 

That Raconteurs set ruled, but Jack solo is firmly in the "would watch but won't buy a ticket just for him" category for me.

 

Last year was my first Lolla, so Im excited for this!

 

Still pretty sure we'll be getting Billie this year. Really hope for Dua Lipa and Rufus Du Sol as well as far as headliners.

 

Super excited to see what 3-4 bands I will actually want to see will be on the bill and even more excited to see which of them will have aftershows so I wouldn't need to spend 300 dollars to see 3-4 bands.

Last year's JEW and Limp Bizkit's aftershows were perfect.

 

I guess there will be lots of crossover with this one. Hoping for Beach Bunny and Girl in Red

That's such a great lineup, but I just don't know I can justify the price. If they do single days I may go whichever day Kali plays and hope LJG is that day too. Kind of bummed it takes Kali out of Lolla contention

 

The weekend and doja cat out solider field July 24th

 

With no Chicago date for the pearl jam tour I’m pretty sure they are on lolla

 

I feel like with arcade fire getting ready for an album cycle they have to be in the mix

Do we have literally any idea who is headlining this?

I know Jack White's name has been mentioned but aside from him...Dua? Billie? Doja? Kendrick? Pearl Jam?

 

Pearl Jam, Billie, and Arcade Fire all seem like good bets to me. Vampire Weekend, maybe? If those are four of the top eight then I'll almost certainly be there, although the 28th is my wedding anniversary so I'm hoping most of what I want to see is on Saturday/Sunday.

 

I still feel like Dua and Billie are both really likely because both easily could've done two nights at United. I guess we have to count Pearl Jam in there. Gorillaz playing Life Is Beautiful has me considering them now. I guess if I'm guessing:

Pearl Jam / Dua Lipa / Billie Eilish / Gorillaz

Maybe replace Gorillaz with a rapper though - I want to say Kendrick but there's not much evidence for that. Can't really think of who else unless we are really bumping Rocky up that high.

I was not expecting Metallica at all

 

Oof very underwhelmed so far mostly cus I’m not a Metallica fan. Is Doja a top 4 or top 8 headliner do we know?
