Eh not necessarily. Lolla is unique in that the top 8 really are all headliners. Tame Impala is also headlining Bonnaroo but played Bud Light last year. I could see it going either way, but I mean ok switch Lizzo and Black Keys maybe. And Billie is bigger in the moment but Post has had steady success for several albums now so I still think he gets a bump above her, but I’m more just guessing who will play than exact placement
billie eilish has a show in london the first day of lolla. so idk if that hurts her chances of playing and completely takes her out or not
Yeah, I'm starting to think Billie may play in 2021 because she's in London the first day of Lolla. I know planes exist, but I'm not sure she would fly back so quickly just for one festival set.
Pearl Jam is allegedly out, playing two shows in September at the United Center. Surprised they aren’t playing Wrigley. You are being redirected...
Link works for me...weird. Someone on Reddit posted that they got word from someone who works at the United Center Pearl Jam will be there in September.
apparently foo fighters are announcing a tour tomorrow. guess we will find out if they are gonna be on lolla if there is or is not a chicago show
I know he was never really rumored, but The Weeknd is in Chicago in June so he's out as a possibility.
Do you think it will be cancelled? I mean...it's only March and the fest isn't until August. That's a long time for the virus to be contained/not as serious a threat.
I wouldn't worry yet. My guess is honestly if they are delaying the lineup, it's more out of a fear of people not buying tickets than actual safety. Lolla ticket sales have been slipping, and announcing your festival in the midst of a borderline pandemic is not really how you're gonna boost those sales. If you're concerned about Lolla, imagine how I feel about Coachella being next month. Truth is, none of us really know, but if any festival is safe, it's Lollapalooza because of how late in the season it is.
Is that even legit or just click bait to get themselves some traffic? Can’t find anything anywhere else saying that. They are the only place saying anything
They aren't cancelling one American festival due to this. C'mon. What may actually happen though would be some artists/bands not from the states could possibly have a harder time with visas or travel.
Tech conferences are already getting canceled, and I’m sure every major music festival has had meetings about it and is preparing for the worst. I’m sure they’ll wait until the last possible minute to cancel if they’re going to, but it’s very much on the table.
