Definitely. I don't know how people expect otherwise now.
They aren’t going to make an announcement until the end of the month deciding on what they are going to do. I don’t think lolls falls under what’s been cancelled or they would have announced it already.
If we are speaking purely in technicalities, sure. But the writing has been on the wall for ... months. It ain't happening.
Festivals, Concerts Canceled Until Coronavirus Is Defeated, But Pritzker Won’t Commit To Canceling Lolla
It’s over. There’s no way it’s going to happen.
The foo fighters show from Lolla 2011 is currently live on YouTube
That has been in every email lolla has sent out since early April/ late March
Tom Delonge confirmed that Angels & Airwaves was scheduled to play Lolla : Lollapalooza
All city events, including concerts that obtained special event permits, are canceled through Labor Day. Lolla isn’t happening. Chicago city events including Taste of Chicago, Air and Water Show, Jazz Fest canceled through Labor Day
I agree Lolla isn’t happening, but where’s there announcement? Lori Lightfoot said they would have a decision by the end of the week on it so it’s interesting they aren’t mentioned in the article.
Probably don’t want to burn their relationship and let Lolla announce it.
Lolla is canceled. Lollapalooza, Taste Of Chicago, Air And Water Show Canceled — And Pretty Much Everything Else
Not surprising but this sucks
This summer is going to be so boring in Chicago
Last year all I could think about was how I wanted to move to Chicago this summer LMAO.
It’ll still be fun. Just less group activities.
I heard from a reliable source that the headliners were similar to Oshega's, and there headliners were Foo Fighters, Lizzo, and Kendrick Lamar.
I have... some hope, even if it's not much lol
I wonder what this means for lolla. They kept 1 of the 3 they had. It would be the same weekend as lolla if lolla happens
I heard that was fake (even though a member said they are) but if it’s true it would be a disappointing booking. This is a band that plays state fairs and arenas/amphitheaters where you can get cheap tickets through deals. It doesn’t make sense for them to headline a festival like Lollapalooza and not worth the money when you can see them for cheaper elsewhere.
Definitely feels like a bad joke lmao. Would move literally zero tickets, they’re basically a cover band.
Back in 2018, Journey happened to be playing Wrigley Field the same night I was seeing The Matches at Metro, so my friend and I stood outside Wrigley and listened to a few Journey songs before walking over to Metro, and I feel like that is as much of a Journey experience as I needed.
