Watching T&S while waiting for RTJ. I'd never listened to them before, but they have some pretty catchy tunes and lots of charisma.
Yeah that was a nice cover. Also, any of you cats at the PUP aftershow last night see this? Much sympathy as this happened to me during a Swellers/You Me at Six show years ago (guess which band had more fans in attendance?)
Haha I started with Blink and caught Matt singing I Miss You and had to switch over. Skiba just doesn't do for me. Killers are killing it from the few songs I've seen so far. They sounds great. Can't wait to catch these guys on tour in the new year
Crystal Castles were rad. I watched the Killers for a couple of songs but I wasn't really feeling it. Protip that I just found out, a lot of vendors will do half off or BOGO on their food if you pay in cash at the end of the night.
At Banks/The Japanese House. Thank God the Vic has seats because I am dead. The Japanese House killed it, but every single person in here was talking through them. I wish Flint Eastwood didn't play first tomorrow so I could sleep in a bit.
also the new foo fighters album is going to be pretty good. they played 6 songs off of it live at metro and they were all pretty damn good in my opinion
I'm pretty sure my back is in that video. Dude jumped right around a bunch of people who weren't expecting it because we were to the right of the pit. He fell into the void as the red sea parted for him. And then he got escorted out for his trouble because the empty bottle doesn't allow diving. It felt karmic in a way.
I've gone every year since 06 and this is the most hung over I've ever felt. Blink killed me last night.
Really want to see Sylvan Esso tonight but Banks was so damn good at her aftershow last night that I might have to see her again...
I guess that Muse cover is a cute gesture, but it loses some of its luster when you notice dude staring at his monitor the entire song. Definitely not confident in those lyrics.
Sorry to keep whining about this, but... I never push my way through crowds, but I had to during Glass Animals. Half the crowd had their back turned and were just talking, waiting for Chance. And people were getting pissed at me that I actually wanted to be closer to a band that I like?? It's even worse for alt-J.
Never cared for Cage The Elephant, but watching them on the stream, I'm now a fan. What a performance.
