Thought Johnny Cash was way too on the nose at first, but when the song and trailer picked up simultaneously I got some chills. Think it looks awesome, hope it delivers.
I'm sold on what was showed. I hope its a nice send off for Stewarts Prof X as well as Logan. Excited for a Midnight Special (super underrated film) style road trip/on the run type of film but with super heroes That being said, I think this trailer is bad. The music doesn't fit at all. Doesn't lessen my excitement for the movie at all though.
I think the song would have worked for just the beginning but once the trailer started to show action and got going, should have stopped.
I loved the first trailer so much. First superhero movie trailer i can remember giving me chills. It seems like it's source material is going to be a mix of Old Man Logan, the X-23 origin, and the Messiah trilogy with X-23 filling the role of Hope and Logan in the Cable role.
Really? I think the Comic Con BvS, the 2nd DOFP and any of the Civil War, Winter Solider and Man of Steel trailers were all better by a huge margin.
Looks good. Didn't even feel like a comic book movie trailer. Excited for a more serious approach to these characters.
in the next to last shot of the trailer does that looks Logan is fighting someone else with claws? I didn't seem like he was fighting X-23, and Mister Sinister and The Reavers don't have claws. Possible surprise Daken in the film maybe?
This won't happen, but on Collider Hero's they read a tweet that asked what if the post credit scene is Cable from Deadpool 2 shows up and takes X-23 back to the past?
I've warmed up on the song choice (in part because I really like the song on its own), in spite of it being really on the nose. For those whose biggest critique is musical choice, the film's score is being done by Cliff Martinez.
