Yeah that was weird. It's a bummer that p4k doesn't really cover that genre any more besides the couple huge releases, and to pick a bad album every once in awhile, give it a 4/10, and compare it to Coldplay

 

They shoulda released an emo revival album instead

I love Classixx and "Dark Days" is my favorite song on Sunlit Youth so I'm a huge fan of this collaboration and remix.

No NYC date, but I just saw them in NYC and they were, of course, fantastic as always. Third time seeing them and I'm still chasing that "Cubism Dream" though...

 

I got tired of this album pretty quickly. It almost ruined the first two somehow. Just burned out on LN in general I guess.

 

i listened to gorilla manor last night and it stil makes me cry

 

1) "Cubism Dream" is my favorite Local Natives song (I DID IT FOR MEEEEEEEEE), but I've seen them 3x live and still never gotten it. Rats.

2) During the Sunlit Youth tour, the extended, drum-heavy breakdown for "Camera Talk" was absolutely exhilarating.

 

I like Sunlit Youth but I think it's their worst by such a decent gap that I barely ever want to listen to it.

Hummingbird is an all time classic for me and I love GM almost just as much. I think I maybe listened to this album 3 times.
