Dimorphous Display is fantastic. It's definitely not just a reworking of Two-Way Mirror or anything like that... although I feel like some parts of the instrumental sound familiar to me still? Not sure entirely what this is, if it's a one-off or not, etc. But that being said this is a great track regardless.

Seen some blubbering online about the mix but pay the idiots no mind they are trying something new and it whips ass

 

The production on this is insane, wow. Never thought a song like that could sound like... that. Kinda reminds me of what letlive tried with The Blackest Beautiful except it actually sounds good

And also the song in general just rules

 

Sonically, this reminds me a lot of how Ross Robinson's albums have sounded in the last decade or so, especially the drums. I'm thinking of the Night Verses album in particular.

 

Song is dope

 

I prefer the experimental production on this than I do the production on I Let It In. And the lovely spiralling synth at the end feels more serene appearing out of the chaos of the rest of the song.

Band are better at writing music than they are at song titles fortunately

 

So this is the first in a series?

Another Is It Really You, this time featuring Sleep Token

 

I do not "get" Sleep Token or understand why that guy sings that way.

 

That rendition is dope. I really like that guys voice for the most part, but I never got into that band aside from a couple songs from their debut

 

I just can't help but feel like he's trying to bring the Post Malone schtick to the heavy music scene. I guess that's fine, but it's definitely not for me.

 

The guy just sings with a lot of vibrato. That’s all

Seeing this band for the first time tn and I am juiced and jacked

 

Code Orange has to miss the Philly date of this tour so my first time seeing Loathe is going to be them headlining at the First Unitarian Church
