very disappointed to see it's apparently acceptable to still use it! Lizzo should know better (or at least try to do better) given a huge part of her appeal is her outward inclusivity and acceptance but it should be as frowned upon as the r-slur if not more. speaking as someone with cerebral palsy who was regularly called both growing up.

this drops on my birthday, so i'm gonna go ahead and say Birthday Girl was written for me, lol.

 

so on friday I got to go to the album release party, she played the entire thing for a small audience and did a track by track discussion of the album, and then did a little set of older songs.
Fun album! Think its going to be huge for her. The first half of it jams pretty hard.

 

This is pretty hilarious, but I definitely appreciate the creativity, just makes me laugh a little

This is a really fun album. Fun samples, fun lyrics, fun music, puts a smile on your face, I'm into it.
