I was wondering what effect the re-release I’d Exile in Guyville and the Girly Sound tapes would have on her next record.

 

A month later and I still love this song. Put this on my “albums I can’t wait for in 2020” list.

What are the opinions of Liz Phair in here? I quite enjoy it, and also think it wouldn’t have been nearly as critically savaged if it came out in 2020.

 

She seems to think shows will be happening in May? Excited for the new album but that’s a dumb idea

 

I find it fascinating how much she was still herself even when she went pop, HWC and Why Can't I are classic Liz I mean her big pop hit is explicitly horny

 

I have yet to listen to anything past Exile because I feel it’s all going to pale in comparison

Mixed bag of songs but the good ones (like “In There” and “Good Side”) are really great.

 

Loving this. Good Side might be up there as one of my favorite songs by her. Sheridan Road is really good. Love Ba Ba Ba. I mean the whole thing rules.
