I realize this thread won't get much action, but I loved the first few albums from these guys and the new one is a return to form after that horrible country-leaning one. Kicked Off The Plane is pretty damn fun
Always down for some Lit! First two albums are all-timers and I can still count on a few great tracks on every record (even the country one, IMO)
I sometimes feel like I'm the only person that looks forward to checking out whatever these guys release. And the country phase irritated me so much. Lol
This band has always been super underrated. I think A Place in the Sun and Atomic are some of the finest pop-punk albums of that era, but besides their one hit they didn't get much attention. I surprisingly liked the country album, but this is definitely the better direction for them. I've been spinning this track all day. It's so fun and catchy.
Came to say this as well. The self-titled got buried a bit due to the label change and the fact that streaming services didn't carry it until a few years ago. I had to buy a CD on eBay maybe 6 years ago just because I'd lost my original and no one was selling new copies. Some really great songs on that album though. Very underappreciated.
Yeah I used to love their first time albums and I think they're criminally underrated. The new songs are a lot of fun and definitely a return to form after the awful country inspired last album.
For anyone who only casually likes them, A View From The Bottom was a great album, check that one out. New one seems to have similar vibes.
We'll lock up the bedroom and leave on the lights I want you to see everything when I [artistic pause] you tonight
