Kathryn Newton and Liza Soberano are so good. I adored this

 

Newton is seriously so good. Iconic actress in the making. I feel like I'm watching young Winona or something.

 

Got Abigail coming up in a couple weeks too!

 

Loved this and all I could think about while watching was that I'm happy kids still have movies like this that will be formative for them, shape their tastes going forward, and hopefully have them seeking out weirder and weirder movies. Liza Soberano is a really good comedic actor, she stole the show for me, and I loved how her character was such a subversion of what that role typically is.

 

Decided to watch this because of Aaron and Spo’s praise and liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Very fun and funny little movie.

 

Hell yeah. There are dozens of us!

Still just as good the second time around

 

My work friend just told me this morning he watched and loved it, and later asked my thoughts on it getting a “cult following.” If nothing else, it seems like it’s gonna have dang good word of mouth, which makes me happy ‘cause it rulez.

 

We're looking into rights to show it at our local Horror Fest this year :)

 

Gonna have to give this a rewatch, hope I connect with it more.
