Off the top of my head my Top 5 would be: 1. Waiting for the End 2. Papercut 3. The Messenger 4. Points of Authority 5. One More Light
1. One More Light 2. Castle Of Glass 3. Burning In The Skies 4. The Little Things Give You Away 5. Valentine's Day That's probably my current top 5. WFTE, Final Masquerade, Robot Boy, Roads Untraveled, and Mark The Graves would be up there too
If I didn’t hear Faint again for the next 20 years, I bet I’d still be able to sing along to every word upon hearing it again 20 years from now. That song is iconic.
Lying From You is probably my fav. or A Place For My Head. By Myself fucking rips too special shout out to When They Come For Me. Still think that album sucks but that song was sick from the jump
Waiting For the End is a fantastic song Hit the Floor always gets me pumped Lying From You is indeed very good
I think a lot of the full songs on A Thousand Suns are great, but all the little interludes and things make that album hard to listen to start-to-finish for me.
Waiting for the End is easily my favourite LP song, the vocals at the end are unbelievable I'd say A Thousand Suns is my favourite overall but it does lose me a bit after Blackout
I have literally 0 issue with A Thousand Suns from start to finish. Hell, Requiem and Jornada are actually some of my favorite LP songs.
whoops I meant Wretches and Kings not Blackout before. the first 10 tracks on that album is easily their best work overall imo, just wish I liked the rest as much but The Messenger is a phenomenal closer and yeah Robot Boy -> Jornada is an unbelievable couple minutes of music
A top 15 is very hard to do, I still feel like I'm leaving out some all time greats....at the moment mine are: 1. Waiting for the End 2. Faint 3. A Place for My Head 4. The Catalyst 5. Papercut (Live in Texas) 6. Lost in the Echo 7. Final Masquerade 8. Breaking the Habit 9. Wth>You 10. Don’t Stay 11. Blackout 12. In Pieces 13. All for Nothing 14. Mark the Graves 15. Nobody Can Save Me Now Thanks @BTDandFeelingThis for bumping this thread again! Stop changing your name.
The studio version of LOATR is significantly less impressive after hearing the new live version they did in 2017.
