Avenged Sevenfold definitely is a shot out of left field for this. Mike has hung with out some of those guys before, but I never thought they'd be one of the guests.
Hopefully the shred a super heavy LP song like One Step Closer or Keys to the Kingdom, letting Shadows scream and their two amazing guitarist just play crazy stuff over it.
Here's my thoughts on what the guests could do: Kiiara - Heavy, Burn It Down Blink - Numb, Bleed It Out MGK - Good Goodbye, Bleed It Out Jon Green - Nobody Can Save Me System Of A Down - Rebellion Johnathan Davis/Brian Welch - One Step Closer Oli Sykes - Faint Ryan Key - What I've Done, Shadow Of The Day Avenged Sevenfold - One Step Closer? Some other song from THP? I have no idea I still feel like Jared Leto and/or Corey Taylor will show up and do something
The memorial show is going to be hard to watch. I don’t really like speculating but I do wonder if it’ll be the final show under the LP name or if the remaining band members end up moving forward.
According to their Facebook page, looks like they are going to be streaming their Carpool Karaoke episode next week.
I only knew Carpool Karaoke as the little segment James Corden did on his show. Didn't know there was another Carpool Karaoke which was full episodes.
Yeah, the James Corden videos have become so widely shared so that's why I was surprised lol... idk how popular the Apple Music spinoff is, but as an Apple Music user I'm bombarded constantly with ads for new episodes on their home page... so they're definitely promoting it at least lol
I must've gotten good at ignoring or blocking out ads visually! I use Apple Music too, but don't recall seeing it.
If you ever go to the main “Browse” page there’s almost always a Carpool Karaoke episode prominently featured in the first 2 or 3 featured spaces haha
Is there any word on it the show on the 27th will be streamed? I'd love to watch it but Nashville is a long ways from LA
I'm listening through their discography for the first time after going my whole life just knowing their singles. I'm up through A Thousand Suns... is it an unpopular opinion to think that every album up to this point is better than the last? Because that's how I feel. I can imagine my opinion would be different if I had grown up with the full albums of Hybrid Theory and Meteora but I just kind of like their newer stuff (not so new anymore, I still have three albums left to get through) more ATT is fucking fantastic
Wish this started a bit earlier for CST but I still plan on watching tonight. Here's the link in case anyone needs it:
any idea how long this is on for? I've got bottles of wine, I've got tissues, its gonna get real emotional
I'd imagine it'll be 2 and a half hours long. Not sure if I'm ready for this, gonna be a rollercoaster of emotions.
