Heavy Halfway Right One More Light Sharp Edges Heavy vs Nobody Can Save Me was tough. I really enjoy both songs, but at the moment Heavy just resonates with me a little more. Good Goodbye is catchy as hell, but Halfway Right is my favorite off this album so far. I think One More Light is brilliant. I love the way it subverts the expectation to have this big ending. Absolutely brilliant. It sort of reminds me of Nesting Dolls by Circa Survive in that way. That song kind of builds and builds the whole time and the first time I listened I was expecting it to breakout into this big finale with loud guitars and banging drums, but instead it stops at the peak of the build. Instead it stays very somber and quiet. So good. I love the chorus of Sharp Edges, can't vote it out just yet.
Really solid album overall. Not a single song that I didn't enjoy. And only being 10 songs and around 35 minutes long I guess it makes sense that there's no filler!

I think once it gets to Living Things it will start to pick up. By Minutes to Midnight it should be full steam

Also the more I listen to OML the more I start to like it. I still prefer the other albums but this has some good songs and a right to be listened to. Also idk if it's only because what happened, I like to think it isn't, but the title track is a damn beautiful song.
I hope this question isn't offensive or inappropriate, and if so I apologize, but has everyone reevaluated One More Light in the light of Chester's death? I really don't like it and I think that's kind of the general consensus as well, so it's just interesting to see so much love for it. I'm glad there is though, wish I liked it that much.
