Nobody's Listening is easily their worst song. No hate towards hip hop tracks, just hate towards bad tracks.
Are you a hip hop fan generally? Mike kills that and High Voltage I should revisit the Fort Minor album sometime
I like the song, but it just isn't up there with the rest of Metora. As far as their hip hop songs, Wrenches and Kings and All for Nothing are my favorite ones they have. I wonder if songs from the Fort Minor album + Welcome were included how they would have done.
Not really. I've been working hard on trying to get into the genre but outside of a couple artists I really like I haven't had much success.
Idk what I'd say their worst song is. Probably something on one of the later albums but that's probably bias I'm worn out on all the Hybrid Theory singles so I'm never thrilled to hear any of them. I've never been a huge My December fan
The complaints a lot of people have about Valentine's Day are why I don't really like My December. Nothing really melodically compelling there and the song just meanders.
Alright guys, I did it. I found that most of OML and the last half of LT made the bottom other list besides the interludes. No complaining about how low When They Come for Me is, I know this site harbors all the fans of that song 1. A Place for My Head – After long thought, this song has to be it. Awesome intro, Mike’s verses/lyrics are fantastic. Chester’s chorus is so strong. That bridge build up and break down is so heavy. Then after the final chorus it kicks into Mike’s first verse again with Chester screaming behind him just as a little extra amazing. This song has it all. 2. The Catalyst 3. Lost in the Echo 4. Yeah I remember being really disappointed in that haha. Didn't Chester have a quote where he said swearing in songs is cheap or something like that?
I can't remember the quote exactly, but I know they had said that they had prided themselves on the no swearing
The build up is probably pretty key, but the music is really good in it to and has a lot going on. Listening with headphones is really cool, can almost always pick something new to focus on.
Well, A Place for My Head and Breaking the Habit stuck out as being way too high for me haha. I also thought Valentine's Day, Until It Breaks, and Sorry for Now were considerably too low. I'm curious to see how mine turns out though...
