To follow up on my comment, I think Meteora is better than HT, THP, and OML. Tbh, at this point I might think it's better than LT because it's just more cocnistent. I need to reevaluate my LP rankings.
Are you people really going to let the amazing From the Inside fall to Crawling? Unreal Robot Boy, you honestly cannot honestly say that One More Light is better than Metora
I would put it below THP but I think you are right about LT. LT has an amazing first 4 tracks and then kinda dips up and down. I would say it's better than MTM too. MTM has the most uneven sound, even though all the songs on it are pretty good.
From the Inside is in my top 3 of the album along with Numb and Faint. I want it to come back, its only down by 2
MTM is their best album, but we've been through this haha. I've always held LT in pretty high regard but listeners again recently and realized there are only seven songs that I think are really good on there, which isn't a great batting average (and I don't really like Lies Greed Misery).
Numb: 15 Figure.09: 9 Lying From You: 16 Don't Stay: 8 Nobody's Listening: 5 Hit the Floor: 19 From the Inside: 11 Easier to Run: 13 Foreword: 1 Session: 23
Yeah, MTM has some amazing songs on it, but it's flow is so weird. Heavy first song, super softy, rap/heavy song, super softy for the rest of the album until No More Sorrow, then more super softy after that.
I didn't fully appreciate MTM until years later when I realized almost all the songs are great by themselves, but it's just the album flow that had me disappointed at first.
It's very eclectic but flows great for me. I think of it in the same vein as Taylor Swift's Red - very diverse albums, but I also consider them very cohesive.
Me too! I'm surprised it did as good as it did against Numb though. Numb is a fantastic song and fan fav, so Figure putting up a good fight is fine with me.
