Also, I wouldn't mind doing one for any of the above bands I listed if people were interested, just didn't want to step on any toes or steal someone's thunder!

I'm fairly certain the Brand New tourney will be a battle of the five kings level war.

 

Yeah, I could probably only handle one (maaaybe two) brackets at a time. I try to listen (or re-listen) to everything before voting.

 

I know it's been mentioned before but it may be a good idea to create a bracket tournament thread/threads for future brackets. I'm just thinking of a potential Brand New one and how the Brand New thread is already super busy.

 

Plus the people in that thread would riot if I tried. I've already been told as much. I call dibs on running the bracket BTW

 

The album thread is very busy, though the main Brand new thread has been relatively composed. For now, of course.

Haha fuck me, ATL would be impossible. I'd totally do it though.

 

I'm pretty sure this game would be an improvement over much of the stuff that's happening in the Science Fiction thread.

 

I haven't gone to that thread all that much, mainly because the album was just 'pretty good' to me, i didn't find it the god send to my ears most people claim it is. Is it that bad over there?? Lol

 

That thread has a couple of the worst posters I've seen on this site

 

I agree with you on the album. There's some good discussion in there but also some god awful tangents that always seem to get started by a couple particular users.

 

Yeah, as someone said, I feel like we got some winners from the Brand New subreddit, haha.

 

Finally someone that didn't hear me say that about the album and go "OMG BAN HIM GRAB THE PITCHFORKS AND A ROPE!". That seems to be the usual reaction on this site lol

I understand it, i'm an avid BR fan. Having the album drop the way it did was intense, and the fact that the album delivered some really great stuff/wasn't in the same vein of Daisy/Singles had people really happy. Alas, they could conduct their happiness in much more effective ways.

 

I do wonder, have you caught yourself allowing this secondary life to come out IRL? hahaha.
