I am in genuine shock 2 people voted In Between over The Little Things Give You Away

 

And I'll be salty when What I've Done loses to Hands Held High. HHH is one of my least favourite LP songs.

 

Hot Take: TLTGYA and In Between are my least favorite songs on the album. So good thing I'm not voting because that would be a hard pick in not in a good way.

Shadow Of The Day vs. Leave Out All The Rest was the toughest one for me. Two of my favorites on the album, but unfortunately matched up in the first round.

In Pieces vs. Bleed It Out was the second hardest one for me. In Pieces is a really great song but I just have always liked the energy that Bleed It Out Brings ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No Roads Left vs. Wake was an easy one for me since No Roads Left is a song I like and Wake is an intro track. Sorry, gotta go with the actual song here.

Across The Line vs. Valentine's Day was pretty easy for me. Valentine's Day is one of my least favorite on the album.

The Little Things Give You Away vs. In Between was another easy one for me. I like The Little Things Give You Away a lot and In Between is my other (along with Valentine's Day) least favorite track on the album.

What I've Done vs. Hands Held High is a pretty good matchup. While I do enjoy Hands Held High, What I've Done is an awesome song and deserves to move on to the next round.

Kinda funny how the two loudest/heaviest songs got first round byes too haha

 

HHH is a really powerful song to me and WID is probably their weakest single.

 

In fact, another hot take: What I've Done is the second worst song on the album.

In Between is fantastic you fools

 

I am starting to think if I was in a car with you I'd be very confused. On one hand we seem to like a lot of the same bands. On the other hand our opinion on their songs seems to be polar opposite half the time lmao

 

Scratch that, In Between is better than WID, the latter is actually the weakest song on the album

 

I'll take WID over IB, TLGYA, and Valentines Day, easy.

 

Valentine's Day is a top 10 LP song for me. One of my favorite Chester performances.

 

To me, WID is similar in vibe to Leave Out and Shadow, both of which are vastly superior songs. I kinda don't need another one of those on the first half of the album. I think the three you mentioned are good to great songs that benefit from being placed very well in the track listing.

 

I will agree with your point that Shadow and Leave Out are superior songs. The three I mentioned are bottom tier, WID and HHH is mid tier, and those two plus GU, BIO, NMS, IP, and NRL are top tier.

 

I will never accept The Little Things Give You Away being in anybody's bottom tier!!!

The tier thing is a more fun version of ranking to me haha. I could not rank the songs on this album.

 

Agreed, I like that way much better than ranking.

 

But my game is the best way to do this.... RIGHT?!
