The Messenger Iridescent Blackbirds Wisdom, Justice, And Love Blackout The Catalyst Burning In The Skies Waiting For The End
Messenger Iridescent Robot Boy (fucking hell this was hard) Requiem Blackout Catalyst Burning In The Skies Waiting For The End I'm going to be honest, Jornada might have won out against a few of the "real" songs on here. It's such a strong track. Requiem too
The Messenger - 17 Fallout - 0 Wretches and Kings - 6 Iridescent - 11 Robot Boy - 11 Blackbirds - 6 Wisdom, Justice and Love - 4 The Requiem - 13 Blackout - 17 The Radiance - 0 The Catalyst - 11 When They Come for Me - 6 Burning in the Skies - 17 Empty Spaces - 0 Jornada del Muerto - 0 Waiting for the End - 17
Currently: The Messenger - 17 Fallout - 0 Wretches and Kings - 6 Iridescent - 11 Robot Boy - 11 Blackbirds - 6 Wisdom, Justice and Love - 4 The Requiem - 13 Blackout - 17 The Radiance - 0 The Catalyst - 11 When They Come for Me - 6 Burning in the Skies - 17 Empty Spaces - 0 Jornada del Muerto - 0 Waiting for the End - 17 Blackbirds, WAK, and When They Come For Me are putting up fights despite being behind. Everything else is clear cut runaways it seems.
I like them, but no way is any interlude winning against the real songs on the album, they are all incredible
I would've voted for Fallout over a couple of the full songs. The interludes on this album really are great.
I wouldn't vote for any of them to WIN, but I'd probably take Requiem and Radiance over Blackout, When They Come For Me, and Messenger
Fucking hell, meant Jornada, not Radiance lol. Always just associate it with Requiem. Whoops. Still, I feel that Requiem is such a chilling track. I wasn't a hardcore fan of LP until around the time ATS was out, and hearing The Catalyst lyrics used in the intro with that haunting instrumental through the voice of Mike vocoded to sound like a young child completely invested me in the album from the first minute. Jornada is such a dark and powerful track if you know the historical context of it, too. 100% agree. If it hadn't been up against my second favorite song on the album, I'd definitely have voted for it. Always been one of my favorites.
Speaking of which, why is Blackbirds in here and not on the B-side bracket that has yet to happen? Its a good song but I didn't think it would do well against all that songs that are ATS.
Because it was a bonus track for it on the iTunes version I believe. Any songs that actually connected to an album (Blackbirds, my December, etc) will be on that album. Songs that didn't and were just in a soundtrack or EP (QWERTY, New Divide, Part Of Me) will be in the extra bracket
It was initially released there, but they wound up including it in the deluxe version of ATS later on. Kind of like how Across The Line was an LPU track that got released on the iTunes remastered version of MTM
