I'm willing to participate but I must be honest and say I am not a fan of anything post M2M lol. Hybrid Theory was one of two albums that were my first CD's bought. The other was The Gorillaz S/T album. Have had a good time revisiting the older albums lately.
The more recent albums will definitely take a but more work since I haven't heard them as much. I love ATS but I forget which song is which
That's part of the fun of these though isn't it? Revisiting old songs/listening to the ones you haven't heard yet?
I've been spinning the discography a bunch so I should be well prepared. I'm glad I've revisited those albums, my thoughts have actually changed quite a bit
Same actually. For example I loathed OML when it came out. Now I still find it my least favorite album, but there's a handful of songs I like
OML will be fun to rank because it's so song-oriented. ATS has those weird sound collages which can be hard to differentiate.
Should we perhaps promote this in other threads? The blink-182 one because you did a bracket there? The Wonder Years and Relient K ones because they have current games running?
If you guys want to, I won't say no to the PR. The Relient K thread though should be posted by and/or run across with @Greg though I wouldn't want to step on his toes mid game.
Oh shit I've never heard this before. This riff is so hard I love it. What album was this a b-side for?
It wasn't a B Side per say, it was an unreleased song from their Underground EP series around the M2M era. I was lucky enough to see them play it live in 2007
I'm totally down for this. This is one of the few bands on here where I feel comfortable enough in my knowledge of EVERY album to know I would be making meaningful votes lol
I'd say only include b-sides if they actually appeared on a version of the record. My December & High Voltage (Hybrid Theory) No Roads Left (Minutes to Midnight)
I may do that and then do a separate bracket for anything else like QWERTY or Pretend to Be that didn't
I think we should do OML and go backwards. I love reanimation but sticking with just studio albums may be best. The real question is what about half the songs on ATS since they are short instrumentals or intermissions? For that album are you just going skip those?
