I hope the band is happy, but based on these two songs I absolutely do not want to see this iteration of the band live
Hmm, yeah, I'll keep an eye on more songs, but nothing I heard pulled me back in after not really digging their sound for a while. That probably wasn't the intention though.
I'm not super digging her parts on Somewhere I Belong, but it would probably be weird if I did, given that song was etched into my brain 20 years again. Her voice is super cool, but the rawer vocals don't carry quite the same. Definitely uncanny valley though, so it's weird right now.
go back, like one page. Apparently a scientology follower and supporter of Danny Masterson, the dude from That 70s Show that did a ton of awful stuff.
the drummer was introduced without saying anything, but then the new guitarist was introduced as "stepping in for Brad" so my guess is that Rob isnt part of the reunion but Brad is sick or something
For real haha. Did they mic like 5 guys in the crowd up at the back or something?! It sounds like a shred whenever they just have the crowd singing lol.
Even without the controversy, I’m less excited than I expected after hearing the first couple songs uh. She sounds fine but this feels… off? This is going to be quite polarizing
