I first posted the Emily rumor last week because I had read it on reddit. What was funny is everytime the same user or another one would post her name, they'd get downvoted to oblivion or the threads would even get deleted while the most ridiculous or unreleastic suggestions kept getting top voted instead. Either the mods knew something or the average reddit peeps are just dumb (probably the latter).
I mean, did you see the number of people pleading for everyone to be kind to the band? Like c'mon, you're allowed to have valid criticisms of the band, especially if they ignore the issues with this person.
True story, I just wanted to hear what her voice sounded like and so I typed in dead Sara and that’s what popped up lol
Even the awful shit aside, I just don't see her singing voice channeling Chester that well, minus the screaming.
To be fair that’s not even the official music video or their page. It’s a live video for Bronson island which was a indie web show and they haven’t posted anything in 8 years. The Danny masterson presents is on a bunch of the videos not just the dead Sara one
I'm not a fan of her singing voice either minus the screaming in places. Honestly, I'll be so disappointed if this is true.
They're handing out badges at the event. From Zero could just be the name of the event itself but it would be a fitting album name. It obviously refers to this being a new beginning for the band but also circles back to the very early pre-Chester days of the band, when they were called Xero. https://www.reddit.com/r/LinkinPark/comments/1f9vfdf/on_the_bus/
I miss From Zero, the quintessential C-list nu-metal band. Their lyrics were pure cheese, but they had heart.
I'm listening to Live In Texas. Every nuance and difference compared to the studio albums is still ingrained in my psyche from listening to it so much as a kid. I really think Chester's harsh vocals here are what paved the way for me to like artists that primarily used harsh vocals. What a performance.
