In the meantime while we wait for the announcement, this song / album is criminally underrated imo

 

Waiting For The End makes me cry every time I hear it. The first time I ever heard it, my grandfather was dying and although he obviously wasn’t an LP fan, the lyrics hit me like a sledgehammer about how short life is and how hard it is to not be in control of something happening around you.

The whole song is amazing but when they go from “the hardest part of ending is starting again” and the band really gets in gear, I fucking lose it.

rock am ring has their announcement in just over an hour so it doesn’t look like it’s gonna be lp

 

I've just checked this guy out and wow. Total copy of Tom, even down to the one tattooed sleeve.

 

Waiting for the End is straight up their best song imo. Chester's vocals all across that album are just unreal but on that song especially

 

ran across the street to grab a couple groceries and they were playing Shadow of the Day over the speakers... guess Weis is excited too?

Their announcement so far is only Slipknot, and given Knotfest retweeted the post, it wouldn't surprise me if they're collaborating in some fashion.
