Hmm not sure how I feel about the rumours.

I’m personally optimistic and happy for them (assuming this is what it seems like). It’s been 7 years, and if they feel it’s the right time to come back I’ll support them.

I wouldn't be surprised if they r gonna spend the rest of 2025 writing and recording their new album once European tour in early 2025 ends.

I am happy Linkin Park r coming back in general but I bet tickets for their potential tour will be seriously high demand regardless on who the lead singer will be but I am excited and hopeful of new lp material.

I feel like I read that Mike Shinoda said he's been writing for awhile, imagine if they already are done with the new album and announce it with a tour

Sorry the previous person was on about Courtney from Spiritbox as a choice as the LP singer but I mentioned that Spiritbox r most likely to take the rest of 2025 off to write and record their 2nd album

a while back Courtney said the plan was to spend the majority of 2024 writing and potentially getting the album out in early 2025. the only caveat was if they were asked to tour with a particular band (Korn, which they are/have, iirc) that might change. it's been a bit so idk what their plans are at this point in time, but i'm sure new stuff is on the horizon (sooner rather than later).

That Korn support slot was too good of an offer to turn down!!

They could have a new Album completely done with whoever the singer for the tour is. Some of the bigger bands have been able to write and record new albums with no one knowing about it. Fall out boy, disturbed and underoath come to mind. All 3 did their comeback albums with no one knowing about them

I wouldn't be surprised if they did to be honest, I assume LP r the type of band if they ever come back then it would be with brand new material on deck.

  12. As long as the guys or most of them are back, I welcome any outcomes regarding the singer and their future as a band overall. Just the hope of eventually hearing their songs live again (or for the first time!) fills me with joy.

Those rumors a few months ago said that Han was not a part of the reunion. So seeing him teasing in the comments makes me really happy.

  14. Mike name dropping Dave as well, they must all be on board regarding whatever this will end up being.

edit: Or was it Rob who wasn’t mentioned in the rumors?

It was Rob not mentioned before, the Billboard article said it was Mike, Brad and Dave returning. Looks like Joe got added which makes me really happy… Rob’s been probably the least active out of everyone since the band went on hiatus so it wouldn’t shock me if he’s the one who doesn’t rejoin.

  16. Seeing speculation (based on ig likes/follows of the Linkin Park camp) about Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara being the singer and from the little I remember of their debut album and her raspy voice back in the day, I’d be here for it.

Other than the fact that she's a scientologist who tried covering up the Danny Masterson rapes

I just checked out Dead Sara and I wasn't into it but wanted to wish the band well... but this is terrible. Surely the band can't be aware of this?

I really really hope the band and their PR is smart enough to know not to launch their long awaited reunion with a singer who has skeletons in their closet like this.

  23. Welp now I just hope these peeps were speculating wrong and it's someone else

I had not no clue about any of this.. Unless Emily has left that cult.. then no way LP would hire her with those Skeletons in the closet.

It might be LP related but who knows at this point
