Now take this with a grain of salt.. but apparently it is a full on reunion with a new record and tour to follow and not a farewell tour cash grab with an new lead singer and apparently it's rumored to be either Amy Lee from Evanescence or the lead singer out Stand Atlantic that has got the gig but like I said take this potential info with a grain of salt.

 

Feel like Amy Lee would be way too on the nose.

 

The tour with a female singer has been a rumor for about 3 months now

 

Apparently Rock am/im ring announces their lineup on Wednesday. The timer runs out on Wednesday

 

It's been rumored for a while but I been checking out Stand Atlantic and yeah their singer has the singing chops and a great performer live so she could be a good fit for LP but who u's think could also front LP if Bonnie doesn't get the gig?

Not really, but it would be kind of funny.

 

If Halestorm didn't have an new record coming out next year then Lzzy Hale would be perfect, she has insane range, has the experience performing big stages all over the world and I have seen first hand that she can scream like a motherfucker when she wants too plus she did a damn good job fronting Skid Row on the last 10 dates of their tour as well.

 

Stand Atlantic just put out a new album. So I’m sure they plan to tour that over the next year. They have uk and Australia dates in September but out side of that they have nothing. I think it would all depend on what their tour routing for next year looks like before you could even consider her for the lp spot

 

I was checking the Evanescence touring schedule and after October, they r finished their touring cycle for The Bitter Truth and got nothing planned after that.. the possibility of Amy Lee fronting lp.. it might happen or it won't be regardless she's free for the next year or so.

 

Or they spend 2025 writing a new album. I’m done speculating until the announcement cuz it could be anything

I'm happy for them but have zero interest in any of these rumors so far

 

cue the "it's not Linkin Park without Chester" discourse (which i have no opinion on, tbh)

 

It would be a hell of a leap from Bonnie playing on this to fronting LP, but...

 

She absolutely killed her part on this tho so…

if it is her I’m sure they tested a bunch of songs in secret just to make sure she could do them

 

Amy Lee shot down rumours of her being the new singer back in April, for what that's worth.

I seem to remember the rumour was Linkin Park had been shopping for festival headline spots, not a full-time tour (which would make sense if their new singer/members are in their own bands). If it's genuinely a full-on reunion I'll be surprised.

 

The rumor from a few months ago tho made it seem like it was both festivals and a full tour

 

I really, really hope Wednesday has all the details on what’s happening, so that we can discuss something concrete instead of this cycle of hypotheticals, lol.

 

Based on the countdown the announcement will be at 1:15 cst Wednesday
