It's a jam. Hope there's more solo stuff coming and that he's going to keep working with current and up and coming pop artists.
Pretty cool track, one of the most pop-focused things I have heard from Mike in or out of LP, would be cool to see him get a big hit out of it
That's going to get stuck in my head for sure. I understand how it was a bside, but crazy how this and Lost were locked away for 20 years. Like who makes the decision or rules to not release these songs? (kind of rhetorical - I know labels get involved with some of this, but it seems almost cruel.)
I didn’t use the internet back then and I remember seeing the tv ad for it. Had no idea they were coming out with a follow up to HT and was so hyped
I remember buying Meteora on the day it released. I traded in a handful of CDs at a CD/Game Exchange to get it. My friend drove me, since he actually had a CD player in his car. I remember the exact street we were driving down as Don't Stay started blaring. I read the liner notes during that drive too. Fun times.
The mother fuck yeah at the end of a place for my head on live in Texas is still edited on the 20 year anniversary edition
