Damn, Hunting Party still bangs hard. Still love this album so much.

Wastelands and Final Masquerade are still top LP tracks for me.

 

Mike Shinoda is going to be interviewed on Howard Stern tomorrow.

 

I mean I enjoyed hearing this track but Meteora is perfectly tracklisted, imo... HT and M are staples for me.

 

Mike premiered both more the victim and fighting myself on Howard stern. More the victim is a finished version of the demo cumulus

 

I get why they cut Lost, but I really think they could’ve finished up these two for the album

 

Fighting Myself is great. The overall vibe of it just brings me back.

Fighting Myself is a great song! Wow. Great story about how Mike forgetting it existed and how their manager found a version with Chester's vocals on it.

 

More the Victim fucking slaps. Lost is great too. It's like we're getting a sequel to Meteora with these new songs.

 

I just realized the live in Texas version for the 20th anniversary is the full set. They finally added the songs they kept off the original cd release and where only available if you where a LPU member

 

I gotta be honest, I used to own live in Texas on CD and I thought it was pretty terrible

 

It sounds great. Hate the way they edited the dvd tho. Too much slow mo and feels like watching a music video instead of a live performance.

 

My favorite thing about Live In Texas was the band saying how they went all out with the cameras, even having supposedly having one inside Chester Bennington, which they decided was too gross and didn’t use. That might have been a joke on their part.

I got bummed on Stern when Mike said he was hesitant about doing Meteora 20 after having just done HT20. I really want these guys to release these huge box sets every few years as the albums turn 20.

 

I imagine it's probably really emotional for them to go through all this stuff to determine what to include.

 

Fighting myself will be released as a single march 3rd

 

This will never not give me chills.
