i dismissed OML pretty quickly when it came out. was at my friends place working out yesterday and he had OML on spotify, and i really found myself getting into the songs as they went on. looking forward to re-visiting this album on a run or workout sometime in the next few days.

 

It wasn't his passing that made the album grow on me. It was time. Once I was used to the album it started growing on me(some songs more than others) After he passed the lyrics are what really hit me on the record, and through a lot of their music.

Based off the number of people taking part in these rounds, I think we should speed up the rounds for OML, THP and LT. I think most people only really care about those first 4 albums.

 

Even though you may be right, its a shame.

You may be right. I was leaving rounds open on the hopes people would listen and try those albums but it's super slow going. When I take my lunch break I'll end this round

 

All their albums hit number 1 right? I thought they were all popular lol.

I think Burn it Down was a bigger hit for them. I personally think some of their best songs are on there (Echo and Lies,Greed,Misery)

Heavy is a pretty solid song, but as I've said in this thread before for me it's probably like my fourth or fifth favorite on the album. I think One More Light takes this in a landslide.
