I think it's the Messenger but there's some song on ATS where I actually prefererred the remix by Australian DnB/metal band Pendulum
I don't think I've ever heard a remix from ATS. Of course Reanimation is great, but the remix album of Living Things was awful.
Gotta be. Oh well, if I brace myself now that its going to be a pop album then I'll probably end up liking it when I get it.
I'm hoping the same thing happens with me. Once I hear the album as a whole it'll be better possibly.
Just not looking forward to my 17 year LP streak being ruined if this is their first straight up bad album
I like it, a bit more restrained vocally than I expected but I'm totally into this direction. I wish Mike would rap... or do they fear they will end up being compared to Twenty One Pilots ?
I enjoy both songs thus far, but I feel like if they're going to go fully in this direction, they could do something a bit more creative with it than these two songs seem to indicate. We'll see if there's more experimentation on the whole album I guess.
Heh, I might have to jump on the bandwagon now, because this new song is pretty bad. Heavy made sense as a poppy single, but no idea what they're doing here.
I still can't find the song lol, I'm with Manoverboard who can only find vocal and guitar covers online for it.
It might stay up now. I just heard it in the Australian iTunes chart Verdict: absolute trash. I could handle what they were going for with Heavy. But this is just poo. Brown wet poo. Almost sounds like a rip off of Guy Sebastian's Battle Scars
Wow, I think Battle Symphony is way better than Heavy. Surprised the reception is more negative than what Heavy got. Chester sounds significantly better, the melody and progression is more interesting, the instrumentation is more impactful, and the strings in the first half of the final chorus are a fantastic touch.
