Is there a general LP thread? Since it was created I felt like this one became the general one lol.

Yeah, it'd make most sense in the general LP thread.

I didn't realize there was an LP thread. Only has a handful of posts.

I have to agree with you here, the TBS thread has been impossible lately

The TBS thread was pretty much dead before this though. Like a post a week

Just posted this in the band thread but...

I'm listening through their discography for the first time after going my whole life just knowing their singles. I'm up through A Thousand Suns... is it an unpopular opinion to think that every album up to this point is better than the last? Because that's how I feel. I can imagine my opinion would be different if I had grown up with the full albums of Hybrid Theory and Meteora but I just kind of like their newer stuff (not so new anymore, I still have three albums left to get through) more

    ATT is fucking fantastic

Ehh, kinda yeah. Opinions are all over the place honestly, but I don't think many people would say that Hybrid to ATT gets better each album,I certainly wouldn't say that

To be fair I've really never been into nu-metal stuff, so maybe I just start liking them more with the experimental stuff

Minutes To Midnight is my favorite because it experimented a bit but still actually wrote songs. The excess tracks on ATS don't really do much for me.

Excess Tracks? That record is meant to be listened to front to back! That's the only proper listen!

Most of the time for me too. Only exception would be a workout playlist

Yeah I don't do playlists very often and I don't skip tracks

The first 3 albums were great. The rest all sucked, with the exception of a few stand-out songs.

Shame they have to finish on One More Light. Funny when Mike in 2014 dissed Chrvches and other modern "rock bands" as sounding like, 'Disney commercial music' then released OML.
