Without thinking too much, here's mine. This list would probably change every day. 1. Lying From You 2. Figure.09 3. Easier To Run 4. Iridescent 5. P5hng Me Aw*y 6. Bleed It Out (extended live version) 7. Burning in the Skies 8. Wth>You (That opening scream puts it above the original for me) 9. Carousel 10. Valentine's Day Honorable Mentions: And One, Blackbirds, From The Inside, Faint, Castle of Glass, Roads Untraveled, Blackout, Messenger, No More Sorrow, The Little Things Give You Away, Until It's Gone, A Line in the Sand. Also, pretty much all of Reanimation is amazing.
I think it's my favorite rap style song they've done (over like Nobody's listening, Until it Breaks and such). It's the song I show people who are into rap but sleeping on LP.
I just saw Good Charlotte tonight and before they came onstage they blasted Numb, Crawling and In the End through the speakers. The whole crowd sang their heart out and it was awesome. They talked a little about it before playing Hold On.
Just got back from the LA memorial. Didn't stay for the whole thing, but stayed for like 90 minutes. It was amazing seeing over a thousand people come out to pay their respects. There was some great memorial artwork being displayed, and a mural that everyone could sign with messages for Chester. There were also a few speeches from fans that really choked me up. I had to leave though cuz the tribute acts were underwhelming. I stayed for a while to support them, cuz after all they were fans just like me and are there to pay their respects. But I got really upset when one of the acoustic guys gave a big speech about how he had auditioned for LP before Chester joined and was bitter about it, and that he's never been a fan of their's....then played 2 songs where he didn't even know most of the words. Then right after that they brought 2 more fans up to give speeches, and one was a real awkward guy who said "i wasn't a big fan of chester" and that he hopes Linkin Park still tours. Just left a bad taste in my mouth so I left.
So guys, I am a frequent user and I am coming into this thread to see if anyone would be interested. On both the Blink-182 and Taking Back Sunday threads I have run these bracket games for their discographies. Basically NCAA style brackets of all the songs on an album, one for each album, where everyone takes turns voting on songs in particular matchups until only one remains and then having all the winners face off. I have thought about doing one for Linkin Park, in memory of Chester. Anyone up for that??
Count me out and unsubscribed unless it's done separately from this thread. Pretty annoying to see page after page after page of just song titles (like the TWY thread currently is)
We are doing it in the TBS thread and it's lead to a ton of discussion about the tracks and stuff actually, but it may not be a terrible idea.
I'd assume that a LP bracket tournament would be in a general LP thread anyway, not in the One More Light thread, right?
