I physically own 95% of all my music but since I've changed with the times I get everything off of Apple Music. Plus my car is new and doesn't have a CD player
One week ago, I lost my soulmate and my children lost their hero-their Daddy. We had a fairytale life and now it has turned into some sick Shakespearean tragedy. How do I move on? How do I pick up my shattered soul? The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left. I want to let my community and the fans worldwide know that we feel your love. We feel your loss as well. My babies are so young to have lost their daddy. And I know that all of you will help keep his memory alive. He was a bright, loving soul with an angel's voice. And now he is pain free singing his songs in all of our hearts. May God Bless us all and help us turn to one another when we are in pain. Chester would've wanted us to do so. Rest In Peace, my love. Always, Mrs.Talinda Bennington
It's fine, but a burned cd doesn't have the same appeal to me. Also, there was no problem. I was absolutely 100% fine spending the money to own it, and you liked getting it for free so everybody wins! Those xero songs are dope as hell.
To each their own. If I had a car that had a CD player I'd still buy cds but it's just easier for me to use Apple Music and get everything off of there
Mike seems to keeping things together per his tweets. Good for him. I'm sure it isn't easy. Its great to see him care so much about the fans and others effected outside of the LP family during this horrible time. Also...This:
I'm guessing this is now just a general Linkin Park thread? Randomly had the urge to listen to Breaking The Habit this morning. I forgot how infectious the melodies in that song are.
I keep going back to ATS on all my listens and can't get over how amazing his voice is on Burning in the Sky, Waiting for the End and Iridescent. From the build up of gang vocals in Iridescent to the end of the song will probably always be my favorite LP moment. Wish I could have seen it live.
We're putting together a tribute album to Linkin Park in August. If you wanna cover a song, come here and call out a song! Chorus.fm Member Compilations - LINKIN PARK (Due August 20)
god i love that part. gives me chills. i also like the bridge (i would assume?) of "waiting for the end" when mike comes in with his part.
Listened to Meteora from front to back for the first time since middle school. The riffs ladies and gentlemen.. the god damn riffs.. Oooooof.
He did? I really need to get on twitter. Not just vocally but lyrically it's one of Chester's best. I read somewhere that the lyrics were originally a letter that he wrote for his kids should they ever experience depression like he did.
As much as I wasn't a fan of One More Light, I absolutely love Talking To Myself. Such a killer song.
I still think it's my least favorite album, but think Nobody Can Save Me, Taking To Myself, Battle Sym, Invisible and Heavy all hold up.
Good Goodbye is a banger, Halfway Right is awesome, and One More Light has great lyrics. I think it's a solid record.
I really like Mike's part in Good Goodbye, but then I think it kind of drops off. Watching it love, Mike does a second verse that is not in the album version and then it cuts off, pretty cool. I never got into Halfway Right and One More Light is just hard to listen to, but its a good song too. I cannot believe the hate this album got, at worst its just ok.
Yeah that interview kills me and also theres another one from just a month or 2 ago wheres he's talking about how a year ago he was screaming "fuck the world" and wanted to end it all. I'll try and find that again but its hard to watch.
