I don't even know where to look for a leak these days. (This isn't me asking for a leak, I don't want it)
Back in my day, people didn’t talk the specifics of where to get leaks on these public forums. They simply made clunky, vague posts with the letters “D” and “M” emphasized, to suggest that they wanted DMed about where to go.
I’m sorry but this album is RAD AS FUCK. I fully expected to love it but what I did not expect was ,,Casulaty”…..my mouth was open the whole time.
still gathering my thoughts, but better than i expected in some areas, and just as i expected in others. most of my problems center around Mike just trying too hard on some of these songs. Good Things Go is their best closer since Powerless, maybe even Numb (albeit definitely not better than Numb)
Two Faced felt more HT than Meteora to me, but it definitely feels akin to that earlier sound more than anything else on the album (and not necessarily in a derivative way)
I lean Meteora cause it has a similar feel to Figure.09 to me. It's got that same bounce in the riff and drums
Cut The Bridge is legit great. Favorite song on the record... Didnt hate it.. Listened to the album twice today and... I think its a solid collection of songs.. Gives all eras a nod I think..Its nice to hear Mike just doing whatever... I got a kick out of the intro track when it cuts off Emily being like ..."Oh wait your first-" in reference to Xero being the name before LP.
Only one listen through. I'm not sure how this will land for me overall but I'll say this - the album is certainly heavier than I thought it was going to be.
