They're Christian though, are we sure they don't have anything bubbling under the hood? Yeah, but he's friends with everyone, that's just his way. He's a friendly dude.
Even with all the Emily drama seems like a lot of people still listened to the new song. It’s gonna chart high on a lot of charts
i think the sheer curiosity of what a linkin park without chester sounds like is enough to draw most people in, even casual fans, for at least one listen.
Jacoby according to people I know that have worked behind the scenes at venues have said he's a genuine good dude plus him and the rest of the band r always respectful to security and staff whenever they come to town.
I’ve admittedly listened to the new track a lot. Definitely a bummer with all of this stuff happening cause I really like the song.
Maybe slap in the face is the wrong phrase cause it’s more complicated. It’s just a tough situation for all involved, prior to this Emily stuff, I just don’t know if there is a right or wrong answer it kind of just is I guess
This is not to take away from the points he's making but just to provide context, but it's my understanding that Jaime has had a grudge against the band for a long while now and has spread conspiracy theories about his father's death, which is why his contact with the band has been restricted.
you know what, I deleted my post. upon further reading, what a fucking loon/moron. I still agree with him about Linkin Park with Emily but he is in no way an arbiter of any sorts when it comes to the band.
Deftones, Limp Bizkit, and Korn are all very low levels of problematic, at least as far as current events go. Most of them keep their worst opinions to themselves and I do not care about Stephen Carpenter being a flat earther lol.
i hear you. all i really meant is that if any combination of the lp dudes wanted to continue to make music together, i wish they would’ve done it under a different name. to me, linkin park without chester will never be linkin park, and the better move would be to leave the linkin park legacy alone and start over with something else. add to that all the emily stuff. but it’s tough, and maybe moving forward with lp is what chester would have wanted (though i doubt he’d co-sign the scientology and rape apologist part of it all)
He retracted it!!! I just vividly remember because I was in England at the time and actually own a copy of that issue of Hammer lol good times
Well thank god he retracted it. Korn is unproblematic again. No need to read about Davis' politics on his Wikipedia page. Shut up and play the hits, baby!
